St. Patrick's day is a big deal in our family. We've been picking up pots of gold, glittery shamrocks, fake tattoos and these cute head bands for weeks.
St. Patrick's day is the day we normally do family portraits and we normally buy special jammies or shirts to commemorate each year. I'd say it's like Christmas around here...without the presents.
This year, the leprechauns will be visiting again and turning the milk green...leaving glitter in strange places..and a pot of gold. You know, the usual!
It's so exciting, it gives Josiah bug eyes just thinking about it! Do you guys celebrate St. Patrick's Day or are we just alone in our Irish-loving, corned beef eating, craziness?
Your kids are adorable. & the fact that you make it special every year is awesome!
I don't know why, but it's one of my favorite 'celebrations'. Maybe because theres really no stress about it, just a fun day. This year we won't be celebrating in normal fashion...although celebrating none the less, I'll be in the hospital with a little tiny newborn, he'll be 1 day old. :) (at least that's the plan)

oh my goodness, they are way too cute!
We don't really celebrate other than we try to wear green that day... I LOVE corned beef, but Mark, not so much, lol.

Too cute! We celebrate St. Patrick's Day big around here too. There's even presents. ;) The leprechauns leave gifts in between pranks. The kids love it. This year will be interesting because we'll be staying with my MIL while we're on vacation and I don't know what she'll think of having green potty water or green milk or finding leprechaun coins in a trail down the hall. And the kids... they'll be looking for leprechauns in the desert instead of in the bushes and up the trees!
